Haneda Airport Big Bird Observation Deck


It is located on both terminals of the Haneda Airport. For terminal 1, it is located on the 6th floor and as for terminal 2; it is located on the 5th floor. You can observe both from inside and outside, and from the outside you can see the airplane flying above their head from the open terrace located outside. They also have a play area for kids at terminal 1 and at terminal 2 you can view the whole panoramic view of the Tokyo bay area. It opens at 6AM and it closes at 10PM and the fee is free.



Shinjuku Center Building


It's about 7 minutes walk from one of the major station in Tokyo, Shinjuku west exit. The building has office, restaurants, and an observation deck at the 53rd floor. The admission is free and it is open from 8AM to as late as 11PM! You can dine or have some drink around Shinjuku and why don't you stop by the deck for a nice end of a romantic date.

I House Telecom Center Observatory


Telecom center located at the Telecom center Station on the Yurikamome line from Shinbashi station is one of the greatest building with an outstanding view. In summer you can see the fireworks and illuminations during winter is beautiful as well. The observation deck is located on 21st floor and the view itself is approved as night view inheritance of Japan. Entrance fee is 500 yen and it is open from 3PM to 9PM during weekdays and it opens from 9AM on the weekends (it’s closed every Monday).

A walk on the Rainbow Bridge


The bridge crossing the Tokyo bay area, Rainbow Bridge, is known for its massive amount of traffic by "car" but did you know you can "walk" across this bridge for free? The walk way is 52.4m above ground and about 1.7km in length. It takes about 20 ~ 30 minutes to cross it and there are two entrances, the North route and the South route. (South route is more popular) From November to March it is open from 10AM to 6PM and from April to October it is open from 9AM to 9PM. They have resting area in between too where you can enjoy the view by sitting down. *No bicycles and pets allowed unless they are carried. The easier route is 5 minutes away from the Shibaura Futo station on Yurikamome line.
